As Analytical Scientist, you will be the bridge connecting our R&D team with our Innovation team, supporting both teams with the development, validation, and execution of analytical methods to support the characterisation of substances and preparations throughout the product development life cycle of plant protection products (PPPs).
You will not just generate data.
You will interpret it.
You will act as the analytical anchor within the Innovation Team - working closely with formulation, biology, regulatory and development colleagues to ensure every project entering Development is analytically defensible.

What You’ll Do
Build Robust Analytical Foundations
Develop, validate, and execute chromatographic and mass spectrometric (MS) analytical methods for substances and preparations in crop protection products.
Execute physical and chemical methods to evaluate the performance of CPPs, including stability evaluations.
Evaluate laboratory data and prepare reports in a time-efficient manner, providing recommendations or conclusions as appropriate.
Contribute as a member of cross-functional project teams.
Ensure Smooth Transfer into Development
Develop transfer-ready analytical methods
Support handover into manufacturing teams with clarity and documentation
Capture and reuse analytical learning to strengthen future projects
What You Bring
You combine technical depth with strong interpretive judgement.
Essential:
Degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline
1-5 years of experience in analytical development within crop protection, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry
Strong hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC)
Experience in method development, validation and stability studies
Familiarity with regulatory expectations for analytical data
Excellent scientific aptitude.
Ability to present clear and concise written reports.
Desirable but not essential:
Experience with complex formulations (SC, CS, EW, nano-dispersions)
Expertise with Empower and/or MassHunter software.
Experience operating in innovation-focused, cross-functional environments
Understanding of basic project management principles and methodologies; experience with Lean/Agile project management an advantage.
Scientific curiosity and disciplined execution matter more than tenure alone.
